I am 44 years of age, and live in the Hutt Valley, Wellington, with my partner and our two boys aged 11 and 7 years; (and a cat called Pippin!)

After originally working as a legal receptionist when I left school, and realising I had a creative side I wanted to explore, I began working for a photography studio in the city.  I was practically thrown in the deep end, after a short training period photographing weddings and portraits.  I was hooked, and eager to learn more; and I haven't looked back since!

I worked full-time for 12 years, photographing families (including pregnancy and newborns), glamour portraiture, and a little commercial work.  After this time I left to start a family; this of course kept me busy, but I continued to do various jobs from home.  And naturally, my boys provided the perfect subjects, many times, hence my love of photographing children.

Photography to me, is a way of life, in both my business, and also my personal life, creating images as an artform.  I couldn't image, or bear, not being able to indulge in this ever evolving and incredibly satisfying craft.

My aim is for you to have images displayed in your home - whether on the wall, a shelf, or in an album - that you will always view with pride.  I believe they should evoke feelings; what you feel each time you see them, is very important to me.

I create simple, timeless images, and love adding a touch of spirited playfulness and whimsy to them.

I can honestly say, my craft truly is my passion -  I'm really driven by the desire to do what makes me happy.  I'd love to share it with you..
